I specialise in helping people create a long-term practice for building strength and longevity. My approach blends calisthenics and free weights, focusing on functional movements and full-range training to enhance mobility and muscle development

A little about me

My name is Steven, and my work as a personal trainer is rooted in my own recovery journey.

After a significant injury in 2017, I focused on my rehabilitation and created a daily routine that rebuilt my body’s function and strength.

This practice, built on mobility work, calisthenics, and free weights, not only restored function to my body but has kept me stronger and more flexible ever since.

I now use this hands-on experience to help others build a practice that restores function and builds lasting strength

My approach

I can help you rediscover the joy of movement using a hybrid approach that builds lasting strength.

We’ll work together to address any weaknesses and imbalances by blending bodyweight exercises, free weights, balance work, and a good dose of floor work.

I live and train in minimalist or barefoot shoes, and my programming is based on the ground-up principle, ensuring we fully engage the feet and use that stable base as the foundation for everything we do.

It’s a rewarding journey to get back to these movements, and I’ve created Nimble Athletic to explore them together with you.
